SPIRAL SLOT ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A spiral slot antenna is provided to improve a wideband characteristic and a circular polarization characteristic by forming a feed structure at a center portion of a spiral slot. CONSTITUTION: A conductive layer(10) is coated on a dielectric substrate(1). A spiral slot(20) is formed by removing the conductive layer from a center portion of the dielectric substrate into a spiral shape. A power supply line(30) is formed into infinite balun on a surface of the conductive layer and supplies energy to the center of the spiral slot. The power supply line is connected to the center portion of the spiral slot into a shape corresponding to the spiral slot The power supply line is combined with the surface of the conductive layer by soldering. The spiral slot is formed into the dielectric layer having a predetermined dielectric constant.
