PURPOSE: A semi-automatic gas range is turned on automatically by a goods detection sensor and turned off because a button is pressed automatically. CONSTITUTION: A semi-automatic gas range comprises a fire hole, a goods detection sensor, a cover and turn on/off buttons. The cover protects the sensor. When a skillet or a pot is placed on the gas range, the gas range is automatically turned on and when a food is moved or the gas range is not used, the button is pressed automatically so the gas range is off.
