RUBBING CLOTH FOR USING IN RUBBING PROCESS OF ALIGNMENT LAYER

PURPOSE: A rubbing cloth used in a rubbing process of an alignment layer is provided to increase rubbing strength and uniformity of rubbing alignment. CONSTITUTION: A rubbing cloth used in a rubbing process of an alignment layer comprises a rubbing base film(12) and a rubbing file(13). The rubbing base film is attached onto an external surface of a rubbing alignment roller. The rubbing file is fixed to the rubbing base film. A surface of an end of the rubbing file contacting the alignment layer has a sawtooth or arc shape when the rubbing cloth is unfolded. A surface of an end of the rubbing file on the rubbing base film periodically changes along with a rubbing direction.
