TREATMENT METHOD OF THE TUNNELING WASTE WATER

PURPOSE: A method for treating wastewater from the excavation of a tunnel is provided to shorten times required for treating processes and to lower the content of suspended materials in wastewater. CONSTITUTION: Wastewater from the excavation of a tunnel is transferred to a tubular reactor(1) equipped with an air inlet(4). A coagulating agent is reacted with the vortex of the wastewater, which is formed by the injection of air, to initiate a coagulating reaction. A polymer coagulation aiding agent is reacted with the wastewater in a tubular coagulator(2) to terminate the coagulating reaction. Coagulated suspended materials are settled in a settling basin(3) to become sludge. The sludge is separated and eliminated to eliminate the suspended materials from the wastewater.
