<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display mechanism monitoring device capable of correctly determining whether a display by a display mechanism is normal or abnormal. <P>SOLUTION: A display mechanism monitoring device 1 includes a velocity sensor 3, an acceleration sensor 4, and a system ECU 5. The system ECU 5 includes: a velocity display task 9 for acquiring a detection value (velocity value) of the velocity sensor 3 and creating image data to display the velocity value on a liquid crystal display 2; an acceleration management task 12 for acquiring a detection value (acceleration value) of the acceleration sensor 4; a variation calculation task 13 for calculating variation of the image data; and a velocity display monitoring task 14 for comparing the acceleration value acquired by the acceleration management task 12 with the variation of the image data calculated by the variation calculation task 13 and determining whether abnormality occurs in a velocity display process by determining whether a change of the image data exists depending on the acceleration value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
