<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front compartment structure in which the rigidity of a vehicle body can be balanced to be almost symmetrical in a vehicle width direction. <P>SOLUTION: At top-side peripheries of attachment portions 11 of strut housings 10, a strut support cover member 20 is fastened along a front edge 7b of a cowl top panel 7where the strut support cover member 20 and the cowl top panel 7 jointly constitute a reinforcing cover member 8. The strut support cover member has front ends 20a and 20b located on its left and right ends where the front ends are fastened to a support attachment surface with one or two sets of bolt members 13 and nut members 14, so that an attachment portion of the reinforcing cover member 8 on a driver's seat side DS has low attachment rigidity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
