摘要 <p>Provided is a wavelength dispersion measuring device which includes the following: an optical splitter section for splitting an incoming light signal to be measured into first and second light signals to be measured and for producing a frequency difference between the outgoing first and second light signals to be measured; first and second branch paths having a polarization maintaining property; an optical phase shifter which is provided on either one of the first and second branch paths and which cyclically changes the phase (ai) of light signals to be optically measured; an optical combiner section for combining the first and second light signals to be measured so as to provide the interference component of the ith optical component of the phase (ai) as an outgoing combined light signal to be measured; an optical frequency sweep section for sweeping over a frequency range, through which the combined light signal to be measured is allowed to pass, so as to extract a spectrum component in the frequency range and then provide the resulting spectrum component as an outgoing component light signal to be measured; an optical detector section for employing the component light signal being measured as an interference signal; and a control section for chronologically acquiring the interference signal corresponding to the ith optical component in sync with the change in phase made by the optical phase shifter.</p>
