PURPOSE: A hydroelectric power generation system having successively installed waterwheels is provided to enable flatland to be effectively used using an overpass waterway. CONSTITUTION: A hydroelectric power generation system having successively installed waterwheels comprises a water collector(10), a water pipe(20), a lift unit(30), an overpass waterway(40), and a row of hydraulic turbines. The water collector is located on the upper stream. The water pipe sends water to the lower stream according to the slope of topography from the water collector. The water pipe has a closed pipe shape except for a flow direction. The lift unit raises water to a height corresponding to height above sea level of the water collector using water pressure formed by altitude difference to the water collector.
