Provided is an anti-glare film with which it is possible to obtain a display image having excellent high contrast, and which is capable of suppressing the occurrence of surface glare and white glare to a very high level, while maintaining hard coat properties and anti-glare properties. An anti-glare film, which has an anti-glare layer having an uneven surface on at least one surface of a light-transmissive substrate, is characterized by the anti-glare layer containing an aggregate in which at least two types of fine particles are aggregated, the aggregate causing projections to be formed on the surface of the anti-glare layer, and the surface of the anti-glare layer being formed so as to be uneven.
