LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of shave of an inner frame and prevent separation of the inner frame.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has an inner frame 28 and an outer frame 38. The outer frame 38 comprises: a peripheral wall 40 surrounding the inner frame 28; an engagement piece 44 that is elastically deformable and engaged with the inner frame 28; and a bottom wall 42 facing the surface of the inner frame 28 opposite to a liquid crystal display panel 10. The engagement piece 44 has a first portion 46 bent from the peripheral wall 40 and extending in a first direction, and a second portion 48 extending in a second direction so as to reach the leading end of the engagement piece 44. The first direction is a direction approaching the inner frame 28 while separating from the liquid crystal display panel 10. The second direction is a direction separating from the liquid crystal display panel 10 without approaching the inner frame 28. The inner frame 28 is held between the second portion 48 of the engagement piece 44 and the bottom wall 42. The second portion 48 of the engagement piece 44 engages with the inner frame 28.
