<p>The present invention relates to an oligonucleotide-solid phase conjugate, wherein the solid phase is thiophilic, wherein the oligonucleotide comprises at least one thiooxonucleobase according to Formula I, wherein X is CH or N, wherein R1 is H or NH2, wherein --- indicates a covalent bond, and wherein said oligonucleotide is bound to said solid phase via the sulfur atom of said thiooxonucleotide.
