PURPOSE: A white polyimide film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance a chromaticity property and a physical property. CONSTITUTION: A white polyimide film comprises polyimide base polymer consisting of structures of below chemical formulas (I) and (II) obtained by reactions of dianhydride component and diamine, and dyeing filler which uniformly distributed in the white polyimide film. In the chemical formulas, m to n ratio is 0.95-0.05 to 0.05-0.95. The diamine component is 2,2'-bisbenzidine. The dianhydride is selected from a group consisting of 3,3',4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride and 2,2-bis[4-phenyl]propane dianhydride.
