摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business model advantageous to both users and providers in a settlement service using IC cards, performed by traffic-related service providers.

SOLUTION: A service provider newly issues an IC chip which can be stuck on an existing IC card and carried together, to only a member who accepts secondary use of personal information among users receiving current service. The member receives the same service as before with the IC card on which the IC chip is additionally stuck, and the information which is reported only to a traffic-related server at settlement before is reported also to the new service provider together with a bearer identification number written in the IC chip stuck on the card. Consequently, the new member information gathering service provider can obtain a counter value for secondary use of the information, and can return a counter value for the provision of the information even to the service member who has approved the provision.
