The painting booth (1) has an inner wall with a coating, where the coating has a protective-sealed glass ceramic layer (3). The inner wall has an inner lining made of a metal, particularly stainless steel sheet (4). The inner lining is formed from multiple panel elements (2), where the glass ceramic layer is applied on a side facing the interior of the painting booth. An independent claim is also included for a method for protective sealing of an inner wall of a painting booth.
