PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can raise its cooling performance by reducing a necessary space while reducing its cost. SOLUTION: This motor is equipped with a rotor 2, a stator which is arranged around the rotor and has an iron core and where slots extending axially are formed, a winding 5 which is wound to the slots and has projections 6 projected from the slots, a guide 11 which covers the peripheral side of the projection 6, and a housing 10 which is arranged around the stator. An in-housing passage 14 is formed between a guide 11 and the housing 10. The guide 11 has a communication part 13 which connects the in-housing passage 14 with the interior of the housing 10, a supply path 8 which supplies a refrigerant into the housing 10, and a discharge path 16 which discharges the refrigerant from the inside of the guide.
