<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a torque detection accuracy by detecting a highly accurate rotation angle without being affected by an ambient temperature of a resolver even if one detection coil of two phases is disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: A torque detector calculates a square root of a square sum of amplitudes of a sin phase and a cos phase of a second resolver with no occurrence of abnormality as a resolver amplitude K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>*E<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(S31), and the resolver amplitude K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>*E<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is multiplied by an amplitude ratio r<SB POS="POST">12</SB>to calculate a resolver amplitude K<SB POS="POST">1</SB>*E<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of a first resolver with abnormality (S32). Subsequently, an arc cosine, or a value obtained by dividing an amplitude Ac1 of a detection coil (a normal-side detection coil) paired with the detection coil with abnormality by the resolver amplitude K<SB POS="POST">1</SB>*E<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and the arithmetic value is divided by a shaft angle multiplication N to calculate a first rotation angle θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
