<p>Pesticidal granules, opt. containing carriers and the usual additives, are coated with a layer of H2O-soluble alkoxylated starch (pref. "hydroxypropyl ether starch"), and/or polyvinylalcohol. The effective volatility of the pesticide is reduced, permitting smaller quantities to be used, and/or prolonging the activity of the prepn. More specifically the pesticidal (esp. herbicidal) compositions contain 2,6-dichlorobenzonitrile; 2,6-dichlorothiobenzamide; 2,6-dichlorobenzamidoxime; 2,6-dichloro-N-hydroxymethyl-thiobenzamide.</p> |
