PURPOSE: A belt cleaning system for a raiser cutting device is provided to clean a conveyor belt having a carrier surface for moving paper articles to a raiser cutting device. CONSTITUTION: A belt cleaning system for a raiser cutting device comprises a cleaning web, a roller assembly(20) and a liquid supply sub-system. The cleaning web has a gyroscopic material. The roller assembly comprises a roller. The roller is biased to be contact the cleaning web with a conveyor belt carrier surface in order to consecutively clean the conveyor belt carrier surface by the cleaning web. The liquid supply sub-system supplies cleaning solution to the cleaning web.
