<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a pulse detonation tube by employing a local flexural wave modifying feature. <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment, the pulse detonation tube (10) includes a continuous base tube (12) having a substantially uniform wall thickness (56).
