<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a combustion chamber from making lean upon a cold engine start where water and oil temperatures are different, in a structure where a valve overlapping period is provided upon an engine start. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel injection control includes: a hydraulic variable valve mechanism 105; an oil temperature detector 220; a variable valve controller 201 in the cold engine start, changing the opening and closing timing of an engine valve so that the valve overlapping occurs at a speed according to the oil temperature during the cold engine start; and a fuel injection controller 201 making weight reduction correction of a fuel injection amount according to the opening and closing timing and cooling water temperature so that the lean state due to the change of a wall flow rate is reduced when the opening and closing timing is changed. The fuel injection controller 201 making weight reduction correction of the fuel injection amount before the valve overlapping occurs, in the water temperature where the changing speed of the opening and closing timing upon the cold engine start is forecasted, and when the fuel and cooling water temperatures are different upon the cold engine start, the weight reduction correction of the fuel injection amount before the valve overlapping period occurs, is prohibited, or the correction amount is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
