<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer device with improved responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: A stabilizer device 1 adjusts torsional rigidity between stabilizer bars 2, 3 by rotatably driving a screw member 22 with an electric motor 25 and displacing a plunger 21 in an axial direction. A controller 30 for controlling the electric motor 25 controls a position of the plunger 21 at at least 3 levels, hard, medium and soft. When a vehicle body is moving straight and the road condition is not bad, the medium level is selected. When the vehicle body is rolling, the hard level is selected. When a road surface condition is bad, the soft level is selected. When the vehicle body moving straight enters a roll state, a position of the plunger 21 can quickly be adjusted from the medium level to the hard level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
