<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of a hardness test apparatus when performing a same test on a plurality of samples. <P>SOLUTION: A hardness test apparatus 100 includes: a monitor 8 which enables display a main screen and an assist screen; first test location setting means which sets a test location for a first sample; and second test location setting means which sets a test location for a second or subsequent sample. The first test location setting means sets a reference coordinate on a surface image of the first sample according to a user operation, then sets a coordinate point of an indentation created location according to a user operation, and stores therein a setting condition of the coordinate point thus set and the surface image of the first sample. The second test location setting means causes, when a surface image of the second or subsequent sample is displayed on the main screen, the surface image of the first sample to be displayed on the assist screen. Further, when a reference coordinate is set on the surface image of the second or subsequent sample according to a user operation, the second test location setting means determines a coordinate point of an indentation created location based on the reference coordinate thus set and the setting condition of the coordinate point stored by the first test location setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
