<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circuit area of an interface circuit having a plurality of ports. <P>SOLUTION: At least either of a first selector 10a and a second selector 10b selects data from an active port and outputs it to a corresponding channel CH1, CH2. The other selector selects data from an inactive port or the active port and outputs it to a corresponding channel. Each channel CH1, CH2 extracts a synchronization signal ENC_EN from the input data. Once the synchronization signal ENC_EN is extracted on a port, a synchronization signal generator 60 periodically generates a replica ENC_EN' of the synchronization signal on the port.
