<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly increase pressure in response to the sudden pressure increase request of a wheel cylinder while improving operation feelings of a brake pedal during ABS control execution in a brake control device. <P>SOLUTION: The operation of a power motor 22 is controlled by a master pressure control unit 4 according to the operation amount of a brake pedal 19 to drive a primary piston 8, and brake liquid pressure is generated by a master cylinder 2 to be supplied to wheel cylinders Ba to Bd. During ABS control execution by a wheel pressure control unit 6, by limiting the movement of the primary piston 8, the operation feelings of the brake pedal are improved.
