<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting connector in which connector contact segments absorb coupling errors and maintain contact segment positions to allow a shield structure. <P>SOLUTION: The connector comprises: a first connector body 42 comprising a plurality of first contact segments 72, first dielectrics 432 and 724 having as many through holes 433 and 725 as there are of the segments 72 to regulate relative positional relationships between the contact segments, and a first shield member 42A covering the dielectric and the contact segments; a second connector body 38 comprising a plurality of second, cylindrical contact segments 71 connected to the segments 72 a second dielectric 40 having as many through holes 41 as there are of the segments 71 to regulate relative positional relationships between the segments 71 and fix the segments 71; and a second shield member 38A covering the dielectric 40 and the segments 71; and a casing 3 covering the connector bodies 42 and 38 and having position regulating means 32 and 43 for the connector bodies. Elastic bodies 723a are disposed in the through holes 725 to load the first contact segments, so that when the segments 72 are pressed, the segments 72 are moved against repulsive forces of the elastic bodies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
