An upright post type LED lamp with a height-adjustable post comprises a lamp head (1), a lamp post (2), an amounting base (3), a conduction piece (4). Its characteristics are that: a clamping sleeve (7), a fastening sleeve (8) and a turning shaft sleeve (9) are sleeved on the lamp post (2); the clamping sleeve (7) comprises a connecting sleeve (71) and an elastic clamping head (72); the elastic clamping head (72) comprises multiple frustoconically shaped jaws (721) which can pinch elastically; the upside of the inside wall of the fastening sleeve (8) is provided with a conical inside surface in order to make the jaws (721) of the elastic clamping head (72) pinch; the underside of the inside wall of the fastening sleeve (8) is provided with an internal thread (82); the turning shaft sleeve (9) comprises a first sleeve (91) and a stop disk (93); the first sleeve (91) is sleeved outside of the connecting sleeve (71); an outer wall of the first sleeve (91) is provided with an outer thread enabling thread connection with the fastening sleeve (8); a center part of the amounting base (3) is formed with an annular cavity (31); the stop disk (93) is formed in the annular cavity (31).
