<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-operate steering switch which is mainly mounted on a vehicle and used for controlling a various types of devices to be controlled, and to provide a vehicle operation system. <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit 23 detects a candidate electrode having a predetermined change in electric capacity from among electrodes 1A-1E, and selects one selected electrode by using priority setting data 23D in the control circuit 23. The priority setting data 23D is the data corresponding to the distance from the rotation center 11A of a steering wheel 11 on which electrodes 1A-1E are disposed to the electrodes 1A-1E. An operator can select an electrode in consideration of the electrode arrangement so that fingers of the operator can easily touch the electrodes, thereby providing the easy-to-operate steering switch 30 and vehicle operation system 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
