PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, which can maintain the powder shape of a polymer to be produced and can prevent fine microparticles from being generated; a method of producing the solid catalyst component; a catalyst; and a method of producing polyolefin using the catalyst.

SOLUTION: The solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization contains magnesium, titanium, a halogen atom, and a polyolefin that can be solved in an inert hydrocarbon solvent.
