<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a photographer to easily recognize whether an imaged image is recorded after being trimmed to have a set aspect ratio or recorded without being trimmed with a set recorded aspect ratio stored in the aspect ratio information in a header. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of RAW recording, a CPU (105) displays an intact image imaged by an imaging unit (101) on a display unit (106). When the imaged image is recorded after being trimmed to have the set aspect ratio, and when the set aspect ratio is different from the aspect ratio of the imaging element of an imaging unit (102), the CPU (105) displays the image after being trimmed on the display unit (106). When the imaged image is recorded without being trimmed with the information indicative of the set aspect ratio recorded into the header, and when the set aspect ratio is different from the aspect ratio of the imaging element of the imaging unit (102), the CPU (105) displays on the display unit (106) a line indicative of the set aspect ratio in a manner to overlay on the imaged image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
