The method involves placing a product packing reservoir (2) in communication with an air suction device and activating the device so as to create a negative pressure inside the reservoir prior to the initial filling of the reservoir with product. The initial filling of the reservoir is subsequently performed by placing a product source (16) in sealed communication with the reservoir by a filling valve (15), so that the negative pressure causes filling of the reservoir by suction of the product contained in the source. The product is dispensed by actuating a product sampling device (3). An independent claim is also included for a bottle for dispensing a fluid product, comprising a rigid body.
