The system has venting openings with a cover (1) for partially covering the venting openings, where the venting openings are partially or completely released by tilting the cover about an axis. The cover projects over a surrounding helmet surface (10) when the cover is in the tilted condition and have venting passages and/or venting ribs provided at a side projecting over the helmet surface and/or at a side turned towards an interior of a helmet. The side of the cover projecting over the helmet surface is oriented opposite to a flow direction of air. |
