A stand-alone pouch film having double surface layers is provided to maintain the mechanical physical properties such as good impact resistance equivalent to the existing pouch film for packing heavy weight, to reduce the weight of packing material, to save material cost for the pouch film, to minimize the amount of film use, and to allow safe packing of heavy weight items more than 1 kg against impacts during distribution. The stand-alone pouch film having double surface layers comprises: a surface layer comprising polyethylene terephthalate(PET) or nylon; a middle layer including reformed polyolefin resin; and a cover layer made of polyethylene material with low density.
