PURPOSE: A draining system for a water gate is provided to reduce malfunction and facilitate maintenance because a drainage pump is separately installed with the water gate so that the drainage pump and the water gate do not interrupt each other for installation or operation. CONSTITUTION: A draining system for a water gate comprises a left bank(110), a right bank(120), a water gate(200), a collecting well(300), a drainage pump(400), and a drainpipe(500). The left bank and the right bank are symmetrically installed along the side of an outer waterway(210) where river water flows. The water gate is installed between the left bank and the right bank to open and close the outer waterway and an inner waterway(220). The collecting well is formed to be recessed in one side of the inner waterway which is adjacent to the water gate, and communicated with the inner waterway to collect and drain the water of the inner waterway. The drainage pump is installed inside the collecting well to suck the water in the collecting well. One end of the drainpipe is connected to the drainage pump and the other end thereof penetrates from one side of the collecting well to one of the left bank and the right bank to be arranged in the outer waterway. |
