The method involves determining integral value (30) of deformation of a mechanical dampening piece based on integral value of displacement of the dampening piece in a time domain. Deformation of the dampening piece is determined (36) based on the determined integral value of deformation. Expression of force applied on the dampening piece is obtained based on moving speed and the integral value of deformation of the dampening piece during determination of deformation of the dampening piece.
