PURPOSE: An image sensor and a method for operating thereof in a semiconductor device are provided to effectively correct a multi dead pixel. CONSTITUTION: A memory(245) stores the Bayer low data of a pixel array. A window configuration unit(210) constitutes the window of the predetermined size in pixel array. Operation units(215,220,230) detect a dead pixel which is generated from the pixel array through the window. Corresponding to the generation of the dead pixel, the operation unit corrects and calculates the saved Bayer low data. A processor(240) updates an operation value of the correction operation in real time.
