<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device in which dropping or shifting of a sheet on a tray is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet processing device includes a control means which predicts a difference of height between the sheets stacked at a first position and stacked at a second position of a sheet stacking means. When the difference is equal to or above the predetermined value, the control means transmits a signal to require stop of ejection of the sheet to an ejection part.
