<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain sealability by a seal member, by restraining heating to the seal member in an exhaust gas recirculation valve. <P>SOLUTION: An installation hole 26 is formed on the downstream side of a gas inflow port 20 in a body 12 for constituting the exhaust gas recirculation valve 10, and a valve seat 16 is arranged for abutting on an outer peripheral surface of a ball valve 14. In this valve seat 16, an inner cylindrical part 38 is inserted through the installation hole 26, and an outer cylinder part 40 is inserted into an annular recessed part 30 formed on the outer peripheral side of the installation hole 26. A seal ring 34 is also installed on the outer peripheral side of the outer cylinder part 40 via a ring groove 32, and a cooling water passage 54 for flowing cooling water is separately arranged at a predetermined interval on the outer peripheral side of the ring groove 32 and the seal ring 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
