<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a multi-layer display. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-layer display includes: plural display units arranged in layers; a touch panel placed on a front side of the plural display units; and a setting unit for setting any of the plural display units as an operation screen in response to operation on the touch panel. The setting unit switches the operation screen when operation at an identical position on the touch panel is continued for a predetermined period.
