<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu management device that always provides the same menu configuration even if an execution environment changes. <P>SOLUTION: The menu management device includes a common file 10 containing application data to be processed by application software and menu data representing menu configurations that users corresponding to respective user areas have customized. The menu management device reads the application data out of the common file 10 according to a read-in instruction made by a user and reflects the data on the application software, and also sets a menu configuration based upon menu data stored in a user area of the user having made the read-in instruction on condition that the user area is present in the common file 10. Then the menu management device determines whether there is menu data of the user having made a saving instruction according to the saving instruction by the user, and saves the menu data in the user area of the common file 10 and also saves the application data in the common file 10 when the menu data of the user is present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
