<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mapping device and a mapping program capable of creating a map easily viewably disposed with a character string that is a basis of a determination when a user follows a route from a departure place to a destination. <P>SOLUTION: When a user follows a route from a departure place to a destination viewing a printed map 30, in some situation, the user may rotate the direction of the map 30 according to the traveling direction. Even in such case, a first type character string 36A in accordance with the map 30 is disposed according to the traveling direction, and the first type character string 36A, or the basis of the determination in a road 32 where the user is currently located, is constantly disposed according to the traveling direction of the user, so that the first type character string 36A is easily viewable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
