<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device with a touch detection function capable of enhancing uniformity of detection sensitivity to a touch. <P>SOLUTION: A display device with a touch detection function comprises: a display function layer (liquid crystal layer 6); a plurality of touch detection electrodes TDL arranged in parallel so as to extend in a first direction; and a plurality of driving electrodes (common electrodes COML) which are arranged in parallel so as to extend in a second direction crossing the first direction and form capacitance at an intersection with the plurality of touch detection electrodes. The plurality of driving electrodes extend to a first position, which separates from a center of the outermost touch detection electrode in the plurality of touch detection electrodes arranged in an effective display region S by a half distance of array pitch of the plurality of touch detection electrodes, or to a second position outside of the first position, and an outer edge of the effective display region positions at the first position or its inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
