A magnetic acrylic acid-type weakly acidic cation exchange microsphere resin and preparation thereof are disclosed, which belong to the field of magnetic resins. A suspension polymerization is carried out at a certain temperature under certain conditions by evenly mixing magnetic granules with particle diameter of 0.01to 10µm and oil phase. After hydrolyzation, the magnetic acrylic acid-type weakly acidic cation exchange microsphere resin is finally obtained. The microsphere resin consists of the framework of weakly acidic cation exchange microsphere resin and magnetic granules embedded therein; the weight ratio of the resin framework and magnetic granules is 1:0.05 to 1. The basic structure of the resin framework is (I) or (II) wherein n is 1, 2, 3.... The weak acid volume exchange capacity is 1.0 to 5.0 mol/L, and the average grain diameter is 20 to 500µm. The specific saturation magnetization intensity is 5.1 to 33.4 emu/g, and the weakly acidic exchange capacity is 1.0 to 5.0 mol/L. The microsphere resin disclosed in present invention can be used in water treatment for removing ammonium as nitrogen and metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, copper, nickel, cadmium and the like from various waters. |
