A filter pipe houses radial, axially aligned thin lamellae which form an annular filter surface, and a floating piston. The latter is reciprocated by pushers controlled from the sludge pipe. Into each filter pipe end pass pipe nozzles of feed pipes, closing an annular space to the lamellae ring. Each of the two annular compartments has an annular discharge slot at the end opposite the piston path. The slot size is adjustable and is for discharging for compressed solids. |
