A foldable display stand for planar articles 10 is formed from a substrate, e.g. plastic or corrugated card, that can be folded along two fold lines to provide a front panel 2 with a pair of side panels 4 and wherein each side panel 4 has a necked slot 8 that allows a planar article, e.g. photograph, art work, envelope, advertisement etc, to supported by the stand in a substantially vertical orientation. The slots 8 are located between a first section 28 and second section 30 of each side panel with the walls of the slots 8 being defined by edges 32,34 of the first and second sections. The edge 34 of the second section 30 is of greater height than the edge 32 of the first section 28. The slot walls 32,34 may have inclined sections 38,42,42 which define the neck region of each slot. A rear panel 6 may be provided. A foldable substrate for forming the stand is also disclosed. |
