<p>Apparatus for unpinning the selvedge edge of a fabric leaving a drying frame, of the type comprising a chain on each side of the fabric, carrying plates on which one or more rows of vertical tenter pins, which grip the edges of the fabric, are installed, together with a knife designed to cut off the selvedge parallel to the edge of the plate, as well as a device for unpinning the fabric outside the pins. The unpinning device is formed by a small plate arranged on the tenter pin plate supports and provided along one edge with a series of holes which the tenter pins normally enter to pick-up the selvedge of the fabric previously cut by the knife, in line with the tenter pin chain, the small plate being so arranged that it can be displaced relatively to the tenter pin plate until the pins are withdrawn from the holes outside the selvedge.</p> |
