<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper holder device to be applied also to the place in a cramped space by providing a function other than a paper holder function into a compact configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A paper holder 1 is arranged on the lower surface side of a holder supporter 2 attached in a substantially horizontal extension state from a wall surface 4, and then, the paper holder 1 is made movable between a first position for storage on the lower side of the holder supporter 2 and a second position for swelling sideward from the lower side of the holder supporter 2. By the configuration, the paper holder 1 set at the first position functions as a handrail, to secure safety in the movement of a user when using a restroom.
