<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably carry a developer on a developer carrying surface. <P>SOLUTION: A developer supply device of the present invention is configured to supply a powdery developer charged to a predetermined polarity to a supply target. The developer supply device comprises a developer carrying member and a conveyance substrate. The conveyance substrate comprises an upstream side part disposed on an upstream side in the developer conveyance direction from a carrying position closest to and facing a developer carrying surface which is the peripheral surface of the developer carrying member and a downstream side part disposed on a downstream side in the developer conveyance direction from the carrying position and to which the conveyance bias is applied in which the DC voltage component is shifted to a predetermined polarity side from the upstream side part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
