PURPOSE: An air cleaner for a vehicle is provided to prevent damage due to backfire pressure since the backfire pressure is solved by a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner for a vehicle comprises a body(10), a cover(30), and a clamping unit. The body accepts filter elements. The cover covers the top of the body. The clamping unit clamps the body and the cover. The clamping unit clamps the edge of the cover and the body with the elastic force of a spring. The clamping unit locks and unlocks the body and the cover by key rotation. The elastic force of the spring is overcome by the inner pressure between the cover and the body. A gap is formed between the body and the cover. A clamper(50) is formed from a plastic material.
