<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor suitable for use in detection of a biomolecule having a concentration of 1 nM or less of the detection object substance, and to provide a production method of the biosensor, and a method for detecting a biomolecule by using the biosensor. <P>SOLUTION: The biosensor includes: a substrate; an insulating layer; a source electrode and a drain electrode formed on the insulating layer; a channel having an interrupted middle portion and disposed between the source electrode and the drain electrode; and a detection region where a detection object substance is fixed, the region covering an upper part centering the interrupted middle portion.
