<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to accurately recognize a position of a current subject image in a panoramic image to be captured in a case of panorama capturing. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing unit 17 performs image processing on a captured image of a subject inputted from an image capturing unit 16 and sequentially generates image data of a plurality of frames. In a case of panorama image capturing, an image composition unit 52 acquires image data of one frame generated by the image processing unit 17, in accordance with each acquirement instruction to acquire image data being inputted, and composes the currently acquired image data of one frame with image data of one or more frames so far acquired up to the last acquirement instruction to generate a panoramic image in progress, indicative of a captured area up to the present in a panoramic image to be generated. A display control unit 54 causes a display unit 19 to display images of respective frames generated by the image processing unit 17 together with the panoramic image in progress generated by the image composition unit 52 during the panoramic image capturing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
